Congress Park Homes For Sale

Congress Park is a Central Denver neighborhood that began as a streetcar suburb in the 1900's. Many of the neighborhood structure was built during this period, including Fire Station #15 and Capitol Presbyterian Church.

Homes in Congress Park are older than those found in neighboring Cherry Creek and home styles are a blend of old and new with a wide variety of Denver squares. Many have been remodeled to today’s standards. The farther North you move from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, the less expensive the real estate becomes. Smaller Denver Bungalows and Denver Squares are also located in the Congress Park area and are priced between $300,000 to $700,000.

Move further north toward Colfax, and you’ll find an eclectic mix of single-family, duplexes, and condos.

 Congress Park is one of the BEST neighborhoods to live in Denver. The following reasons make this community one of top Denver neighborhood:

Trivia: Congress Park used to be a cemetery. It took an act of the United States Congress to allow for the cemetery to be converted to a park. In gratitude, Denver named this place “Congress Park”. 

Amusement & Recreation

Congress Park has tennis courts and a public pool, along with fields for soccer and baseball.

Commuting to downtown Denver is less than 15 minutes. The easy walk to nearby Botanic Gardens is an added benefit. The gardens have a stunning variety of plants and flowers. Summer concerts are a favorite event held there in the evenings.

Congress Park’s X-factor score also gets a boost from the recent influx of new restaurants and shops along Colfax Avenue—among them a shared-building concept from Humble Pie Store and Cerebral Brewing as well as the hip-but-approachable Lula Rose General Store coffeeshop.
