DENVER, COLORADO - Last Wednesday, February 9th, Porchlight hosted their annual awards at Topgolf in Thornton. I have always enjoyed these events, it is a great way for Porchlight staff and agents to celebrate our success from the previous year.
10 YEAR SERVICE AWARDEE
A special gift is given to agents and staff to commemorate specific milestones of 5, 10 and 15 years of service to PorchLight.
When I joined Porchlight 10 years ago, I was a newer agent and I aspired to be one of the top 10 producing agents when the company had 60 agents. The only awards I received the first couple of years were "Agent with the Messiest Desk" and I think I received an award for having a positive attitude or something along this line?
TOP PRODUCER AWARDEE
I worked my butt off to finally get in the top 10 agent spot after 5 years. I'm truly fortunate to have support from family, friends, and past clients to earn a spot in the top 10 over the last 5 years. With the growth of Porchlight now with 200 plus agents earning a spot in the top 10 is definitely a challenge but a friendly challenge amongst co-workers is always fun and worth the effort. This year I earned the number 7 spot , which I'm very happy with.
2021 AGENT OF THE YEAR AWARD - PORCHLIGHT HIGHLANDS OFFICE
The award I'm most proud of is earning the Best Agent in the Highlands office. This award is not based on the number of homes sold but on collaboration, teamwork, and always willingness to help other agents.
I'm truly blessed to have found such a great brokerage to work for. Last night was not a celebration of who sold the most Real Estate, it was not a room filled with a bunch of egomaniac brokers bragging about all of their success. It was a group of people who work extremely hard for their clients with the support of a small army (Porchlight staff), who all believe putting their clients' needs first and foremost is how you build a successful real estate career.

This is going to be a horrible analogy but some of you sports fans might get it. With all of the tools and marketing Porchlight provides is like getting traded to the 95 Bulls Basketball team, which has been regarded as one of the greatest teams in NBA history.
