Cherry Creek north not only has massive road construction to improve the storm drainage in the area to reduce flooding which is expected to be complete mid-November there are also numerous buildings being constructed as well. Many of my clients have asked about all the “new condos going up” in the Denver area and I explain to them there are very few condos going up and most of the buildings are apartments. Three buildings that are getting a lot of attention in Cherry Creek are Steele Creek Apartments, 245 Columbine and 250 Columbine.
The first luxury rental high rise in swanky Cherry Creek neighborhood, Steele Creek Apartments, is midway to completion. The 12 story building is expected to open in March 2015. Programmed like a luxury hotel, expansive windows will allow residents to enjoy views of the Rockies & downtown Denver skyline. Amenities will include a rooftop infinity pool as well as a state of the art wellness center. It is located directly across one of Denver's finest shopping and dining mecca, Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
250 Columbine is the only new, for sale residential condominium project in Denver. It has a total of 71 residential condo units and 70,000 sq feet of office space. According to an announcement on their facebook page, over 65% of the units are under contact. Last Sept 29, PCL and Western Development Group celebrated a Topping Out ceremony by signing the last vertical beam to be placed on top of the structure. The building is 8 stories high and is located steps away from the city's best shopping and dining establishments. Amenities include a 6th floor amenity deck and plunge pool.
