Denver's Jefferson Park , dormant for a number of years, is quickly becoming active and popular again. The year 2013 marked the sprout of numerous apartments and condo building projects.
With majority of construction projects expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2014, businesses are gearing up to open their respective stores. Most of these businesses are eateries.

A pizzeria, a sprawling Italian restaurant-deli, pub, and frozen-yogurt shop are expected to open their doors in the West 25th Avenue area during the new year.
They will join Chili Verde, a restaurant featuring cuisine of southern Mexico that opened at 2311 Federal Boulevard in October, and Federal Bar & Grill, which opened in the former Mickey Manor building in May.

The pioneer among the eateries is 2914 Coffee, which opened in March of 2012 and has become a local hangout.
CrossFit Jefferson Park opened on Eliot Street in November. Members live within walking distance of the studio, which stresses intense, constantly-changing exercise routines based on functional movements.
Eliot Street and West 25th Avenue are expected to have Sexy Pizza on the southeast corner, Sarto’s on the southwest corner, and the Jefferson Park Pub a little further south on Eliot.
Sexy pizza, which sponsors community events and donates a portion of its proceeds to local causes and groups, is expected to open this outlet, its third, in January, he says.

Andrew Toole hopes to open the Jefferson Park Pub in February. It’ll occupy space between Sarto’s and the Armijo Design Group.
Sarto’s will be both a restaurant and a deli dedicated to Northern Italian dishes. The deli will sell pizza, salad, sandwiches, hand-made pasta and other goodies.
Meanwhile, a frozen-yogurt place is expected to open at 25th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, possibly in March, according to Ihor Figlus, the owner.
"For years people have said Jefferson Park is an up and coming area and I have disagreed until recently, " declared Barry Kunselman, a realtor specializing in buying and selling Central Denver Homes.
"I love how close Jefferson Park is to the city and with new restaurants under construction this neighborhood will offer great walkability. I very excited to see if Jefferson Park becomes the new hot spot," Barry further reveals.
