Mature trees provide leafy shade, and century-old places of worship are peacefully located in the heart of it all. A tasteful mix of high-rise condo buildings, arts-and-crafts, and those grand old mansions make this neighborhood in the city a comfortable and exciting place to call home.
This area started with Denver’s wealthy and expanded, and you can still see the extravagance built into the Victorian, Tudor, and Greek Revival mansions here. Capitol Hill’s historic mansions share space with newer condos and apartments, resulting in an eclectic young community. "Cap Hill" as the locals like to call it is home to young professionals working in the nearby downtown area. TRIVIA: Do you know what is the longest continuous commercial street in the United States? POET'S ROW (Sherman Historic District)
Poet's Row is a group of seven residential apartment buildings in Denver's Capitol Hill, each named after an influential poet or author. Located on historic Sherman Street just a few blocks from the state Capitol, they were built starting in 1933, and are made up of primarily studio and one-bedroom apartments.
